I'm Helen and I live by myself in a bungalow. I was born with cerebral palsy, which means I use a wheelchair and my speech can be hard to understand. I was born near London and have three brothers and one sister, who are all older than me and have lots of children - I have lost count of how many they have between them. |

I do a lot of voluntary work mainly on committees to do with disability or health. I really enjoy helping and encouraging people to live the life they want to live.
I am a Christian and this is an important part of my life but I have many non-Christian friends, I love people for who they are, not for what they believe in. When not working I enjoy eating, music, going in the country and just being with good friends.
I would like to encourage people from all walks on life to email me for help, advice, etc. I am on MSN and SKYPE.
I also give talks on disability to all sorts of groups from large businesses to women groups. If you are interested in a talk, in Dorset please email me.
